The mission of the Association of Independent Combined Heat and Power Producers (SNWES) is to create a platform to exchange views and experience. It will be dedicated for institutions, businesses, organizations and individuals to carry out activities consistent with the statutory objectives of SNWES.
It will lead to the creation of non-discriminatory operating conditions for independent producers of co-generated energy operating outside the main energy sector.
In order to create conditions for dynamic development of the segment of independent producers of co-generated energy, functioning outside the main energy sector, it is necessary to actively participate members of the Association and its supporters in creating a legal framework for the operation of co-generation in Poland.
Our goals:
- Ensuring non-discriminatory conditions for independent producers of co-generated energy operating outside the sector of professional electric companies
- Building public-private partnerships (PPP), including district heating, gas sector and municipalities, directed for developing of local cogeneration sources in cooperation with distribution system operators (DSO)
- Creating conditions for implementation of hydrogen technologies in Poland
- Creating conditions and solution of cogeneration for:
- Agriculture
- Waste management sector
- Industry (coal mines)
How we achive our goals:
- Proposals to government institutions to amend existing and create new legislation on the development of cogeneration.
- Cooperate with government and local authorities to ensure conditions for the development of the sector of independent producers in the area of co-generated energy, in particular to reduce regulatory risk for the activities of independent investors in this area.
- Cooperation with governmental and local authorities in promoting co-generation and implementation of programmes aimed at supporting initiatives in the development of the market for dispersed energy generation sources.
- Organizing symposia, scientific conferences and training courses on topics consistent with the association’s statutory objectives.
- Conducting public relations activities in areas consistent with the Association’s statutory objectives.
