The mis­sion of the Asso­cia­tion of Inde­pen­dent Com­bi­ned Heat and Power Pro­du­cers (SNWES) is to cre­ate a plat­form to exchan­ge views and expe­rien­ce. It will be dedi­ca­ted for insti­tu­tions, busi­nesses, orga­ni­za­tions and indi­vi­du­als to car­ry out acti­vi­ties con­si­stent with the sta­tu­to­ry objec­ti­ves of SNWES.
It will lead to the cre­ation of non-discri­mi­na­to­ry ope­ra­ting con­di­tions for inde­pen­dent pro­du­cers of co-gene­ra­ted ener­gy ope­ra­ting out­si­de the main ener­gy sector.
In order to cre­ate con­di­tions for dyna­mic deve­lop­ment of the seg­ment of inde­pen­dent pro­du­cers of co-gene­ra­ted ener­gy, func­tio­ning out­si­de the main ener­gy sec­tor, it is neces­sa­ry to acti­ve­ly par­ti­ci­pa­te mem­bers of the Asso­cia­tion and its sup­por­ters in cre­ating a legal fra­me­work for the ope­ra­tion of co-gene­ra­tion in Poland.

Our goals:

• Ensu­ring non-discri­mi­na­to­ry con­di­tions for inde­pen­dent pro­du­cers of co-gene­ra­ted ener­gy ope­ra­ting out­si­de the sec­tor of pro­fes­sio­nal elec­tric companies
• Buil­ding public-pri­va­te part­ner­ships (PPP), inc­lu­ding district heating, gas sec­tor and muni­ci­pa­li­ties, direc­ted for deve­lo­ping of local coge­ne­ra­tion sour­ces in coope­ra­tion with distri­bu­tion sys­tem ope­ra­tors (DSO)
• Cre­ating con­di­tions for imple­men­ta­tion of hydro­gen tech­no­lo­gies in Poland
• Cre­ating con­di­tions and solu­tion of coge­ne­ra­tion for: 
  • Agri­cul­tu­re
  • Waste mana­ge­ment sector
  • Indu­stry (coal mines)

How we achi­ve our goals:

• Pro­po­sals to govern­ment insti­tu­tions to amend exi­sting and cre­ate new legi­sla­tion on the deve­lop­ment of cogeneration.
• Coope­ra­te with govern­ment and local autho­ri­ties to ensu­re con­di­tions for the deve­lop­ment of the sec­tor of inde­pen­dent pro­du­cers in the area of co-gene­ra­ted ener­gy, in par­ti­cu­lar to redu­ce regu­la­to­ry risk for the acti­vi­ties of inde­pen­dent inve­stors in this area.
• Coope­ra­tion with govern­men­tal and local autho­ri­ties in pro­mo­ting co-gene­ra­tion and imple­men­ta­tion of pro­gram­mes aimed at sup­por­ting ini­tia­ti­ves in the deve­lop­ment of the mar­ket for disper­sed ener­gy gene­ra­tion sources.
• Orga­ni­zing sym­po­sia, scien­ti­fic con­fe­ren­ces and tra­ining cour­ses on topics con­si­stent with the asso­cia­tio­n’s sta­tu­to­ry objectives.
• Con­duc­ting public rela­tions acti­vi­ties in are­as con­si­stent with the Asso­cia­tio­n’s sta­tu­to­ry objectives.
